Frillywood: " The Big C "

Laura Linney as Catherine "Cathy" Jamison. Cathy is a high school teacher who, at the start of the series, had been recently diagnosed with fatal cancer. Reluctant to burden her family and friends with the news, she keeps it a secret for months. She does reveal her illness to neighbor and friend Marlene. Her behavior dramatically changes as she begins to make reckless choices in the face of oncoming death. These include kicking her husband out of the house, spending money on an expensive car and having an affair. She befriends Andrea, an obese and mouthy student. Desperate to make sure her teenage son is on the right path before she dies, she unintentionally drives a rift between them. She ends her affair when it is exposed, and allows her husband to move back in after finally revealing to him that she is sick. She gives Sean Marlene's house, that she left for Cathy in her will. She decides to undergo a treatment with great risks because she wants to live.

I love this show. The story really touched me because our family is stricken with the big C. Cancer really sucks but it kept me thinking what if we are given a chance to know when to die? While watching the season finale, it kept me thinking what's in the mind of all the cancer victims? My brother. My Mom. It pains me to think but Cathy, Laura Linney's character, did a great job thinking about her son even if she's gone. The most touching scene was Adam's scene. While his mother is in the hospital getting treatment, he discovers a key to a storage locker that is filled with hundreds of gifts for his future birthdays, holidays and major life events. He realizes his mother is not going to live very long and has a break down. Great job by Gabriel Basso.

I really cried. Nothing much to say, this show affected me and i'm really speechless on what came on my mind. Kudos to this show. Winn out.

HaloHalong Huwebes: "THANKSGIVING"

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the Phil, however, for us call center agents, it's seems lika a holiday too because we are receiving few calls that day. Hope we could celebrate it too so that we would be able to shop for turkeys nyaha. According to Wiki,Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. While it may have been religious in origin, Thanksgiving is now primarily identified as a secular holiday. It is sometimes casually referred to as Turkey Day.

Interesting. For me, we should be celebrating Thanksgiving daily, or just say thanks to the One above always. Even with no turkeys and pies and stuffs, saying Thanks to whatever we have is thanksgiving enough. Life isn't about having what we want, but wanting what we have. We should always be grateful to our Maker who provides all that we need. Bountiful harvest indeed.I think God gave us WAY more than enough than we really need. He gave us his eternal love and thats more than we deserve. Happy Thanksgiving always!

Psalm 100 (KJV)
"Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."

Baguio World Wednesday: "PAYONG"

I always love Original Baguio Music. I have friends in the industry and I've heard a lot of compositions from them and dreamt of producing an all acoustic Baguio album. Will be praying for this one and hopefully someday it will prosper.

I've heard this song years ago and it was one of my favorites that was played in the radio, I forgot all about it and suddenly thought about it when it rained days ago. I've searched it in YouTube and voila..it is there. I don't know this band personally but I really admire them, the song is really catchy it can go mainstream. Go go go Baguio musikeros! Byers peeps. PAYONG....

by Ceres

Pr 3:13-18

 13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
   those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
   and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
   nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
   in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
   and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;
   those who hold her fast will be blessed.

Amazing God

Its been so long since ive blogged, but ive been wanting to i just dont know how to start.
Im not a good writer but im trying to. Im not expressive but im opinionated.
I thought it was my worst year, because of family's health reasons, financially unstable, unwanted jobs, and abrupt decisions that led to filed up lies and distracted mind. But here's the thing, it is great because ive surrendered and gave my life to God. The Father. The Son. The Holy Spirit. Amazing.

Christian. Born Again. Yes. I am. Living a life with Jesus. And here's my stand, Its not changing my religion, it never was. But an encounter with Him. A relationship that I was looking for a long time that i thought ill find with somebody else turned out to be there all the time. Always. Yes indeed, He is my life now. I worship Him above all. Thank you Lord for the love. In You alone I place my trust. I Love You.
